This is a public notice regarding a recent EPA violation. This is a continuation from the public notice that was provided in December. Previous samples at EJ Water - SangChris (DS2) had high levels of Total Trihalomethanes (TTHMs). The results from November samples raised the average from the past year above the maximum contaminant level. Our actions of cleaning lines and continued flushing should decrease the TTHMs. The most recent samples, collected in February, were well below the limit. Continued low results will put the water system back in compliance. Until then, a public notice will be scheduled every 90 days.
Please see the attached public notice by clicking the link below for more information.
EJ will be making a change to its water disinfection process in your area starting August 26, 2021. The process will last about 7 weeks for Montgomery County members.
I feel so much safer now than when I was using well water. I always worried about chemicals getting into the well.

The most powerful thing was that I didn’t have to haul water any more. It was brutal doing that during the winter months. The water has a good taste and not having to worry about my water source and paying the monthly minimum is well worth it!

We have 107 new jobs out of being able to get access to water. We are wanting to grow and we are growing. The only way to grow is to have enough water to grow.
